SUBJECT CANNOT BE SUMMARIZED.
The mental health graphic tee from Chaos Theøry’s Label Lab is built around one idea: a diagnosis can describe symptoms without defining the person behind them.
Clinically Complicated turns clinical language into something the wearer controls. The design pulls from corrupted case files, intake forms, diagnostic records, barcodes, warning stamps, and research labels to create a dark, distressed piece of mental health streetwear.
At the center is the statement:
SUBJECT CANNOT BE SUMMARIZED.
That message is the whole point.
A chart can document symptoms. A code can describe a condition. A diagnosis can provide answers and help guide treatment.
But none of those things can explain an entire human being.
Why This Mental Health Graphic Tee Hits Different
The mental health graphic tee was designed around the space between diagnosis and identity.
Details like CODE THE SYMPTOMS. NOT THE PERSON. and SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE BEING HUMAN. push back against the idea that a clinical label should become somebody’s entire definition.
This isn’t anti-diagnosis. It’s anti-reduction.
The artwork uses an intentionally cold clinical aesthetic because that contrast matters. Medical forms and research language can feel impersonal. The person living behind them is anything but.
This alternative graphic tee turns that tension into wearable streetwear for people who have been evaluated, categorized, misunderstood, or reduced to paperwork that never told the whole story.
