Diagnosis Pending takes the uncertainty of mental health evaluation and turns it into wearable streetwear instead of something hidden inside a file.

The oversized artwork combines distressed clinical graphics, brain scans, intake-form imagery, prescription references, warning labels, redacted details, and an UNDER REVIEW stamp surrounding the statement DIAGNOSIS PENDING.

This graphic long sleeve shirt isn’t about making diagnosis look glamorous. It’s about acknowledging that sometimes answers take time—and sometimes the person sitting in the chair is a hell of a lot more complicated than the boxes on the form.

The Label Lab explores what happens when a person gets reduced to clinical language. A chart can describe symptoms without describing the whole human being. This design makes the uncertainty, frustration, and waiting of evaluation visible. The file imagery, warning graphics, and distressed details are intentionally uncomfortable. The experience itself is not always neat or inspirational. Progress can be messy. Answers can change. Identity is bigger than whatever is written in a chart.
