Stay anyway.
Not because everything is magically going to get better tomorrow.
Not because somebody slapped an inspirational quote on a sunset and suddenly fixed your fucking life.
Stay because your story isn't finished.
Stay because your brain doesn't always tell you the truth.
Stay because somebody loves you.
Stay because your dog would wonder where the hell you went.
Stay because you're pissed off.
Stay because you're curious.
Stay because you still have shit left to do.
And if none of those reasons work today, stay anyway.
I designed this tee around a wall covered in the kind of words I think people actually need when they're stuck inside the darkest parts of their own head.
STAY.
STILL HERE.
KEEP GOING.
ONE MORE DAY.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
YOUR STORY ISN'T OVER.
SURVIVAL COUNTS.
Right in the middle is the semicolon.
That little mark means a hell of a lot more than punctuation here.
The sentence could have ended.
It didn't.
The graffiti wall also includes 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline information because sometimes awareness needs to be more than a slogan on a shirt.
This piece is part of Chaos Vault // The Survival Files, my limited Suicide Prevention Awareness Month collection.
I didn't create it because I have mental health figured out.
Quite the opposite.
I've spent most of my life trying to figure out how to live with my own chaos, and now I'm finding a way to turn some of that darkness into something people can actually wear, talk about and maybe recognize themselves in.
No fake positivity.
No pretending survival is pretty.
Just one message buried underneath all the noise:
Stay anyway.
