Peace has never looked especially peaceful in my life.

Sometimes it looks like taking my meds and still being irritated that I have to take them. Sometimes it’s overthinking everything until I’ve exhausted myself, spacing out for a while, and then somehow getting back up and doing whatever I was supposed to be doing anyway.

That contradiction is where Chaotic Peace came from.

The front is intentionally messy: part face, part skull, prescription-style graphics, warning labels, distorted textures, hot pink, toxic yellow, and CHEMICAL IMBALANCE sitting across the top like somebody finally gave the whole situation a name.

Mixed into the artwork are two lines I kept coming back to:

CHEMISTRY IS NOT A FLAW. FIND PEACE IN THE CHAOS.

and

BALANCE IS BORING. CHAOS IS WHO I AM.

Not because I think struggling is cute or that instability should be romanticized. I don’t.

I just stopped believing peace has to mean becoming some perfectly calm, cleaned-up version of myself that apparently knows how to meditate without immediately thinking about seventeen other things.

My version can still be messy.

The back keeps things simple with a small melting smiley near the shoulders — because apparently even the happy face is having a day.

Printed on a Bella + Canvas 3001 with a lightweight unisex fit, soft combed and ring-spun cotton, and pre-shrunk construction. Heather colors contain polyester.

Peace, apparently.

Just not the quiet kind.
