Some days I leave the house with my phone and keys. Other days apparently I need enough shit with me to survive a minor psychological emergency. That was basically the idea behind the Emergency Pack.
I wanted this backpack to look like something pulled out of a crisis unit that probably shouldn't exist—warning stripes, distorted color, file numbers, a giant red handprint, and EMERGENCY PACK stamped across the front like somebody already knew the day was going to be a problem.
And underneath all of that chaos, it's still an actual functional backpack. There are multiple compartments for the things I swear I'll remember without writing them down, side pockets, padded straps, and enough room for everyday stuff, work, school, travel, tech, medication, notebooks, chargers, or whatever else has somehow become necessary just to leave the house.
The artwork wraps around the bag instead of stopping at the front, with distorted glitch color continuing across the sides and bottom while the back stays black and padded. It feels less like a regular backpack with a graphic slapped on it and more like part of the whole design.
Basically, it's my version of being prepared. Not organized. Prepared. There is a difference.
