Mental health survival is not always therapy worksheets, deep conversations, and perfectly developed coping skills. Sometimes it is whatever weird little thing is keeping you functioning that day. A comfort show. A specific snack. Headphones. Sleeping. Avoiding everybody for a few hours. Or apparently a small army of emotional support gummy creatures.
That is where this hoodie came from. The front says MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT CREATURES — WE BITE BACK, because even the cute coping mechanisms eventually develop an attitude. The little gummy on the back is there as a reminder that sometimes getting through the day does not need to look profound. It just needs to work.
I wanted this one to be brighter and more playful than some of my darker designs without turning it into another polished “mental health is beautiful” message. My brain can be a complete disaster and I can still laugh at the ridiculous shit that gets me through it. Both things can exist at the same time.
