I’ve spent enough time looking at mental health paperwork to know how quickly something complicated can turn into a code on a page.
A few letters. A few numbers. A box checked somewhere.
Meanwhile there is still an entire person attached to it.
That idea is what turned into the F41.1 Barcode Snapback.
The front takes the clinical-code look and turns it into a barcode, embroidered in white with aqua and toxic-lime details against a black snapback. Underneath it sits F41.1 and Chaos Theøry — clean enough to wear every day, but still a little too close to actual paperwork for comfort.
I kept this one simple on purpose. Not every piece I make needs to scream from across the room. Sometimes the quieter ones say exactly what I wanted them to.
The code might be part of the record.
It still isn’t the whole person.
And apparently my medical history has finally become a hat.
