I’ve had enough diagnoses, codes, paperwork, evaluations, and labels attached to different parts of my life that eventually the whole thing starts looking less like a person and more like somebody’s filing system.
That is where ICD-10 Glitch Butterfly came from.
The butterfly is usually used as this clean little symbol of transformation.
Mine apparently had to go through a system failure first.
The design surrounds a large distorted butterfly with diagnostic-code references, broken checkerboards, digital static, corrupted graphics, and flashes of aqua, toxic lime, purple, and white.
Somewhere underneath all that noise is still a person.
That part matters to me.
A diagnosis can explain something real. Sometimes finally getting a name for what you’ve been dealing with can actually be useful.
But I’ve never believed a code could explain an entire human being.
I’m more complicated than whatever somebody typed into a chart, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one.
So this one takes all those neat little classifications and runs them through the kind of visual chaos my brain understands considerably better.
The tee is printed on a lightweight Bella + Canvas 3001 with a soft unisex fit, combed and ring-spun cotton, and pre-shrunk construction.
Labeled.
Glitched.
Still changing.
Apparently transformation has technical difficulties too.
