Misdiagnosed Bomber Jacket
I’ve had enough diagnoses, changed diagnoses, evaluations, medication changes, and notes written about me to know that sometimes the label fits and sometimes it changes before you’ve even figured out what the hell just happened.
That’s where Misdiagnosed came from.
The front keeps things smaller with the Misdiagnosed Research Division graphic on the chest. The back is where the whole thing opens up with SUBJECT CANNOT BE SUMMARIZED surrounded by clinical-file markings, warning symbols, research graphics, aqua details, and that red Misdiagnosed stamp sitting right in the middle of it.
Because a diagnosis can explain something. It can help make sense of what’s happening. It can even be the thing that finally gets somebody the right treatment.
It still isn’t the entire person.
And sometimes the first answer isn’t even the final answer.
I wanted this jacket to look like something that came straight out of the Chaos Theøry Research Division — a little official, a little questionable, and definitely not interested in pretending people fit neatly into paperwork.
The black bomber keeps the front clean while the full design takes over the back. The striped collar, cuffs, and waistband give it more of an old-school streetwear feel, which works a hell of a lot better for this design than the original work jacket did.
I’ve been labeled plenty of things in my life.
Some were right. Some weren’t.
None of them told the whole story.
CASE STATUS: DISPUTED.
IDENTITY: UNRESOLVED.
SUBJECT CANNOT BE SUMMARIZED.
