I made this one for the days when my face is doing one thing and my brain is somewhere else entirely.

Smile, It’s Rotting Up There is my kind of dark humor—the kind that sounds slightly unhinged until somebody who gets it laughs a little too hard. Overthinking, brain fog, spacing out, mental noise, whatever is going on up there while everyone else thinks you look perfectly normal.

The warped black spiral and eerie doll-head artwork make it look like something is melting behind the smile, which is pretty much the point. The white ringer tee with black trim keeps the shirt cleaner and simpler than some of my heavier designs, while the artwork gets to do all the disturbing little work.

It’s weird, uncomfortable, a little funny, and very Chaos Theøry.

For the days when you’re functioning on the outside and internally thinking, yeah... we’re not opening that file right now.
