Static In My Head came from those days when my brain is technically functioning, but every thought is trying to talk at the same damn time. Overthinking something that happened three years ago, remembering something I forgot to do, mentally rehearsing a conversation that probably won’t happen, spacing out in the middle of all of it — just normal brain maintenance over here.

I wanted the shirt to actually look like that feels. The front is loud and overloaded with distorted faces, pills, static, scribbled details and that toxic neon mess running through everything. STATIC IN MY HEAD across the top pretty much says it before I have to.

The back keeps going with TOO LOUD and a figure covering their ears while all the noise keeps happening anyway. Because apparently telling my own brain to shut up has never once worked, but I continue trying.

This one belongs in Neon Psychosis because it isn’t trying to make mental health pretty or inspirational. It’s messy, overstimulated, uncomfortable and a little unhinged — which is sometimes a much more accurate description of what is happening in my head.
